Welcome to Pud Scupture

My name is Irene Prince; as far back as I can remember I have had a love of materials and a fascination of how their nature could be transformed.

I live by the sea in Devon this inevitably means that many of my figures reflect the nature of the coast, the rocks and waves.

I try to blend this with the relaxed moods and postures of sunbathers.

My work is predominantly in concrete, though some are in bronze or clay. I feel concrete is the perfect medium for locking together material, form and environment. Although if I feel it appropriate to the subject I am equally happy working in wood or metal.
